WARD AND NEPHROLOGY DUTIES:

Monitoring patients 

Management of hypertensive patients

Took venous samples for investigations

Took ABG samples.

Learnt about dialysis machine and what all infections a pt can get by not maintaining proper hygiene of the central line 

Learned how fistulas are life saving for pts who come for dialysis

Assisted in central line insertion.

Attended case discussions in the clinical lecture hall regarding various cases

Helped my PGs in case allotment for students and attended the practical exam.

During ICU duty:

Monitoring patients 

Done CPR for resuscitation of patients.

Assisted for intubation procedure 

Took ABG samples 

Foley's catheter insertion

Ryle's tube insertion

Assisted Lumbar puncture procedure 




During PSYCHIATRY POSTING:

Learning experience:

- History taking of psychiatric patients and counselling for the patients.

- Seen different cases - Schizophrenia, OCD, Depression

- Attended Rounds in DAC
